When I Grow Up

Today Kaitlyn randomly said to me, "Mommy, when I grow up, I want to be a mommy just like you."
It made my heart melt. Lately I feel like I haven't been the greatest mom. The 4 year old stage has been really hard. I feel like I am always punishing her, telling her to stop, don't do that, stop yelling, please stop whining, etc... so you would thinking being a mommy wouldn't be very fun...
By her telling me that today made me feel loved!

Dawn said...: oh good I'm not alone--Jack has been SOO HARD lately!! At least she didn't tell you that you are a mean mommy because you're always mad at her and that she wanted a new mommy and didn't love you anymore...that's what my day consisted of today.; August 24, 2010 at 10:36 PM
