Back to School Feast

Thanks to the Nie Nie blog, I wanted to copy her idea of having a back to school feast. Since life was crazy before school started we had the "feast" the weekend after she started school. We let Kaitlyn choose what she wanted for dinner which was Mac n' cheese and veggies. (Yum...)
Our theme this year is "Choose the Right". During dinner we talked about what it meant to choose the right and what are somethings she can do this year at school to make good choices. Here is a litte funny story.
Me: Kaitlyn what if you were playing with some girls at school and they weren't being very nice to another girl. What if they were making fun of her or not saying nice things about her. What would you do?
Kaitlyn replies with the most classic answer: I would just go play with the boys.
I think this is going to be a fun tradition!
