Oh how we love you! You are the sweetest baby. No joke. You love life. Everyone you come in contact with tells me how happy you are and how much they love your smile. It's true. You are the happiest baby about 95% of the time. We got lucky.
You took your first steps on August 1st. (Finally!) You weren't really a fan of walking, so you stuck to crawling. The week we went to California you took off with your walking abilities and ever since you have enjoyed walking, but do like to crawl here and there.
You love dogs and I believe you try to bark when you see them, but it comes out like you're making a monkey noise. But that's okay.
For some reason you call a lot of random things "puppy" I have no idea where that came from.ou went from calling daddy "dada" to calling him"mama" Not sure why?
You love to say, "tickle, tickle, tickle" and actually try to tickle someone else or your own feet.
You wave and say "bah". (bye)
Lately you have been throwing your head back and trying to howl. It is the cutest noise ever. You laugh every time you do it.
Your nap schedule isn't much a schedule anymore. You used to take 2 great naps a day, but now that Kaitlyn is in school your morning naps have been kind of shot. You take one after we pick up Kaitlyn (around 12pm). You would take 2 if I let you. Also, you're a trooper, you can go all day without a nap and still be as content and happy as a clam.
You still don't like the swings at the park. You are terrified of the baby swing.
You give the sweetest hugs.
One of my favorite things you do is fold your arms and squish your eyes together when we say, the word "prayer". Love it! It's so cute.
You love to eat basically anything and as long as your tray has food on it you'll keep on eating. When you want something new you'll start throwing your food on the ground (argghh) and for some reason you find it funny.
When you see food that you think looks yummy you say, "mmm!"
When we turn the light switch on in your room or open the front drapes in our living room, you put your arm up and say, "ta-da".
You love belly buttons. You like to lift up your shirt and push on your belly button and say, "b, b, b" (meaning beep, beep, beep).
You LOVE music and to dance. The minute you hear a song on the radio or where ever we may be, you shake your hips a little too well. Sometimes (usually) when you hear soft music, such as piano, you like to conduct. You lift your little arm up and sway it slowly back and forth.
Baths. You still love your baths. You'll do anything to get in the bathtub. Speaking of baths. This week during one of your baths, you pooed. Then you took your poo and threw it onto the floor. Ahhhh!
You love your sister and enjoy following her around. You two usually play well together. Daddy and I love to hear you both giggling in the other room.
You love dress-up. You love to try to brush your hair, put on shoes, the whole get-up!
You do so many cute things. Everyday is a new adventure with you. It makes life fun!
We love you Sarah!

She and Darby share a few similarities, except Darby is cranky a good portion of the time. But I love that stage and I'm so sad that Darby is growing out of it. Sarah seems like such a sweet little thing. Life is good, isn't it?
