OKU Honor Society

Saturday evening Ryan got inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Only the top 12 percent of the graduating class are voted into the honor society by current OKU faculty members, who make their selections based on leadership, character and scholarship. My parents and Ryan's parent's were able to attend. It was held at the Olympic club in San Francisco. It was a small intimate evening, unlike the night before and the dinner was fabulous! We had a large salad, filet mignon, vegetables and rolls. Dessert was fantastic as well, too bad I can't remember what it was. All I can remember was that it was garnished with strawberries and that it wasn't rich. Dr. Russell Woodson sat at our table. He inducted Ryan into OKU. Dr. Woodson and Ryans dad both graduated in the same class at UOP.
