This Summer we were lucky and got to visit my family in California. They were planning a week long trip over Fourth of July at Newport beach at my Uncles beach house. Flights from Boise to So Cal can be really expensive so we decided to drive 5 hours to Salt Lake and fly Jet Blue to Long Beach. It saved us some money. We spent the night at the Kimball and had a view of the Salt Lake Temple. It was Emily's first plane ride and she was a champ.
We spent a week at the beach with my two brothers and their families. Lots of cousins to play with! Kaitlyn and Sarah had so much fun! Sarah didn't like the water at first, but by mid-week she loved it.
Ryan was able to come with us to the beach and stay the whole week. We were even lucky enough to see the Packards! That's always fun. Their new little baby was getting blessed and Ryan was able to stand in the circle. It's always great to see good friends!

Those are some great shots!! Man, I miss the West coast. But the South is growing on me.
