Smashing Pumpkins...

...Squirrel Style.

We didn't get a chance to carve pumpkins this year. 1) Somehow we couldn't find time to do it with our busy schedules. 2) The squirrels ate it.

I had left Kaitlyn's pumpkin on our front porch to add a little decor to our porch. On Halloween I decided we would just carve the pumpkin after Kaitlyn got home from school. When I opened the front door I saw what you see in the picture. I couldn't believe it! The squirrel must have done it pretty fast because I was literally on our front porch getting the mail 30 minutes prior. As I drove through our neighborhood I started to observe everyone else's pumpkins on their porches and theirs were still in one piece. I don't understand why they attacked ours? Maybe because we're new to the neighborhood and we don't know the trick yet to keep them away? I'm not sure.
