What a Wonderful World: Grandma Palmeri

On February 23rd, Ryan's grandma Bertha Maggie Palmeri, passed away at the age of 97.

This is Grandma in her track gear. She tied the world record for the 100 meter dash, and was invited to join the Canadian Olympic team. She didn't attend because she didn't have any money.

Grandma also built and ran her own beauty salon. Once she retired she ran her salon out of her home until she was 90. She was also Miss Boise AND went on a date with Jimmy Stewart.
