Daddy, Mommy, Kaitlyn and Baby
Here is a picture Kaitlyn drew in primary the Sunday before Easter. They talked about the resurrection. All last week and every night Kaitlyn would pray for the Easter bunny to come. She was really excited for Easter and all the fun things that come with it. But, every time she brought it up I would ask her why we celebrate Easter. It was so neat to hear my four year old tell me the meaning of Easter. It made the holiday a little more meaningful for me to know that Kaitlyn knew why we were celebrating Easter.
I didn't take any pictures of Kaitlyn and her Easter basket. Ryan recorded most of it. But, my mom sent her some presents which consisted of some cute outfits, chocolates, stickers, and a toy.
This is the first year we dyed Easter eggs. Kaitlyn is at such a fun age to do these fun things with. She loved it!
The final product. A few hours after we had dyed eggs she had some friends over. She was so excited about her eggs she had to show them off. As she was getting them out of the refrigerator she dropped the carton and three of the eggs broke. She was really sad. So, the day before Easter we dyed lots more eggs.
